Ruercales y Wortuos

Entrada para el concurso de razas de con motivo de su quinto aniversario.

La idea era sencilla, aunque no original, pero sí curiosa: los wortuos, unos duendes conocidos por ser muy habilidosos y por estar deliciosos, se hacen pasar por los autómatas del viejo relojero Otto Ruercal, quien los ayuda a esconderse, para evitar extinguirse (aunque ya todos los den por extintos). Así, como los ruercales, se dedican a toda clase de labores manuales sin levantar sospechas más allá de que unos autómatas trabajen y cobren. De actitud reservada, actúan y hablan lo justo para mantener su coartada.

Y sí, este es un resumen muy resumido de su historia, en verdad es más larga, más detallada... pero no quiero aburriros.

My entry for 's fifth anniversary contest.

The idea is simple, yet not original, but also funny: the wortuos, a race of pixies known for being both dexterous and delicious, hide themselves as the automatons of the old watchmaker Otto Ruercal, who helps them with their cover, so they don't end extinct - although many think they already are. This way, as the ruercales, they keep doing all manual labors with no suspicions aside from being automatons that work and get paid for it. Being quite cautious, they speak and act enough so they won't blow their own cover.

And yes, this is just a summary of their story, it's actually much longer, with more details... I just don't wanna bore you.
